Poland is located in Central Europe. It is the sixth most populous member of the EU. The flag of Poland consists of two horizontal bands: the upper white band and the lower red band. It consists of the same colors as the coat of arms of Poland (the latter also has a gold color). The flag was adopted in 1919.
